Mmmm...Loud engines...at 3am.

So apparently my neighborhood has become "Little Hollywood" since it seems to be a favorite destination for rap videos and movies over the past two months. Recently, it was a Mya video, although I knew all the trucks and lights were for a rap video the instant I saw a 2005 Land Rover with chrome double deuces being trailered in.

Before that was Lucky Number Slevin. I now realize why movies cost your first born. They have more crap than I've ever seen in my entire life. Entire 18 wheeler trailers full of just metal poles. And lighting trucks (also specialized caterers, wouldn't want any super stars eating the local gruel, now would we?), cranes, generators, etc. The works.

And most recently, Just My Luck (Notice a luck theme going here??). What pissed me off about this lohan movie is they keep these huge deisel cranes and trucks idling ALL NIGHT LONG. To what end? Are they working 24 hours a day? Anyway, this gives me excuse to post a picture.

Porsche Sedan?

AutoWeek - Porsche Sedan

So after the mind numblingly popular Cayenne, Porsche is now pondering the release of a 4 door sedan. Except, the photo in the link is ugly as hell. Now, don't get me wrong, if Porsche needs to make SUVs and sedans in order to finance their sports cars, huzzah, but please at least make them attractive! I do look forward to an M5 killer, though. And Porsche would have to try really hard to make it look worse than the new M5.

2nd Post

So, this is my, perhaps temporary, blog. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it at the moment but for now I won't be specifically telling anyone that I have one. I guess that, in a way, makes it private. Except for that its on the Internet.

Why do people use blogs in the first place?
Are they closet exhibitionists?
For private diaries?

Well, my future use will be to keep my family and friends informed of what's going on my life when I'm hopefully in Shanghai, China for business school. That time and distance thing probably will dampen personal contact. But in the meantime, what to do? I'm thinking just posting interesting, at least to me, links. I'm sure people will stumble across this little piece of the internet, then I imagine they'll probably instantly fall asleep from boredom.

Above is my friend and his wife. Currently residents of Jacksonville, FL. Anyway, using Picassa2 and Hello I posted it from my computer. Interesting little programs.
